Meet the Team
Dr.ª Ana Rita Pinto
Veterinary Surgeon, graduated in 1998 by the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária – UTL
Since then she has been dedicated to small animal practice, in particular focusing on Dermatology and Internal Medicine. Dr.ª Ana has attended various post-graduate formation events (ESAVS Dermatology I – III e ESAVS internal medicine I – III) and is a member of the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology.
Dr. Bernardo Almeida
Veterinary Surgeon, graduated in 2003 by the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária – UTL
Since 2006 Dr. Bernardo works exclusively in small animal practice. He has particular interests in the areas of Neurology, Surgery, Imaging and Ophthalmology. He has advanced post-graduate training is Neurology (ESAVS neurology I – III). Since 2009 he has taken on the role of clinical director of the Centro Veterinário Império do Animal.
Dr.ª Mónica Correia
Veterinary Surgeon, graduated in 2018 by the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade de Lisboa
Dr.ª Mónica is a Master’s graduate in Veterinary Medicine since 2018 and is the latest member of the team.
Janete Piteira
Veterinary assistant and receptionist since 2003.
Carla Jaques
Veterinary assistant and receptionist since 2013.
